I challenge all African American males to personally mentor at least three AA males of various ages. I recommend we mentor a a pre-adolescent, an adolescent and a high school AA male in order to impart wisdom in areas of morality, values, economic responsibility and spiritual development. Mentoring of AA youth, especially male to male in the case of our young men is our sole responsibiltiy and not to be taken lightly. Think about it, if we mentor these young AA men we ensure they are properly trained, developed and matured to marry our daughters one day. If we don't then we set our daughters up for failure by marrying and bearing children by thugs that have been improperly mentored by the streets. If we do our jobs as AA/Black men all this can be avoided; the responsibility is ours.
